Happy Life Rentals

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Happy Life Rentals website, online booking tools, reservation request forms, checklist tools, payment links, and related services.
By using our website, submitting a booking request, signing a rental agreement, making a payment, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
These Terms are intended to supplement, not replace, any signed rental agreement, waiver, invoice, reservation confirmation, or other written agreement between you and Happy Life Rentals. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed rental agreement, the signed rental agreement controls.
1. About Happy Life Rentals
Happy Life Rentals provides delivery-only travel trailer and camper rental services. We deliver, set up, and pick up campers at approved campgrounds, resorts, and rental locations within our service area. Customer pickup and customer towing are not permitted.
2. Eligibility
To rent from Happy Life Rentals, the renter must be at least 25 years old unless otherwise approved in writing, provide accurate reservation and contact information, provide valid identification when required, use a payment method in the renter’s name when required, agree to all rental terms, waivers, policies, and agreements, and comply with campground rules and applicable laws.
3. Booking Requests and Reservation Approval
Submitting a booking request does not automatically guarantee a reservation. A reservation is not confirmed until Happy Life Rentals approves the request and any required payment, agreement, deposit authorization, or documentation has been completed. Availability, pricing, delivery times, and campground approval are subject to confirmation.
4. Delivery-Only Service
Happy Life Rentals is a delivery-only camper rental service. Renters, guests, campground staff, or other third parties may not tow, move, relocate, hitch, unhitch, or otherwise transport the camper unless Happy Life Rentals gives written permission. Unauthorized movement may result in loss of deposit, additional fees, cancellation of the rental, and legal action.
5. Campsite and Campground Responsibility
The renter is responsible for reserving and paying for the campsite, confirming the campground allows delivered rental campers, confirming the site can fit the selected camper, providing accurate campground and site information, following campground rules, and ensuring appropriate utilities, hookups, parking, access, and clearance are available. Happy Life Rentals is not responsible for campground reservation errors, site-size issues, denied campground access, utility limitations, incorrect campsite information, or campground policy changes.
6. Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe-hosted checkout or another approved secure payment method. Do not send full credit card numbers, expiration dates, or card security codes by email, text, notes, checklist uploads, or website forms. Happy Life Rentals may receive payment confirmation, transaction identifiers, payment status, and limited payment-related information from Stripe, but we do not intentionally store full card numbers or card security codes on our website or server.
7. Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit or security deposit authorization may be required. The current standard security deposit is $750 unless otherwise stated in your quote, agreement, invoice, or booking confirmation. The security deposit may be used to cover damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, smoking violations, pet-related damage, late checkout, unauthorized movement, unpaid balances, or other amounts owed under the rental agreement.
8. Pricing, Fees, and Add-Ons
Pricing may include rental charges, delivery fees, prep or cleaning fees, pet fees, add-ons, taxes, payment processing charges, security deposits, or other approved charges. Optional add-ons may include kayaks, coolers, canopy rentals, generator use, or other equipment when available. All pricing is subject to confirmation before the reservation is finalized.
9. Pets
Approved dogs may be allowed only when disclosed and accepted by Happy Life Rentals. Pet restrictions, dog limits, weight limits, pet fees, and damage responsibility may apply. Unauthorized pets may result in additional fees or cancellation. Service animal requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
10. Check-In, Checkout, and Pickup
Delivery and setup times are scheduled by Happy Life Rentals and may depend on campground rules, site availability, traffic, weather, prior rentals, staffing, and route planning. Unless otherwise stated in the rental agreement or written confirmation, the renter must be ready for pickup at least one hour before the campground checkout time. Late checkout, delayed pickup access, blocked access, or failure to vacate may result in additional charges.
11. Care of Camper and Equipment
The renter is responsible for proper care of the camper and all included equipment during the rental period. The renter agrees not to smoke or vape inside the camper, move or tow the camper, access the roof, disable safety equipment, overload electrical systems, use appliances improperly, damage or remove property, or violate campground rules or applicable laws. The camper must be returned in clean and undamaged condition.
12. Smoking and Odors
Smoking, vaping, and use of tobacco, marijuana, or other smoke-producing products are not permitted inside any camper. Smoke, vape, marijuana, strong odor, or evidence of smoking may result in loss of security deposit and additional cleaning or damage charges.
13. Damage, Missing Items, and Cleaning
The renter is responsible for damage, missing items, excessive cleaning, stains, odors, pet damage, misuse, and damage caused by guests or visitors. Happy Life Rentals may inspect the camper after pickup and document any issues. Charges may be deducted from the security deposit, captured from a deposit authorization, or billed separately.
14. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellation, refund, and rescheduling terms are governed by the rental agreement, booking confirmation, invoice, or written policy provided at the time of reservation. Happy Life Rentals may cancel or reschedule a reservation due to safety concerns, weather, mechanical issues, campground access issues, payment issues, inaccurate information, policy violations, or other circumstances that make delivery or rental impractical or unsafe.
15. Weather, Utilities, and Campground Conditions
Happy Life Rentals is not responsible for weather, campground closures, power outages, water issues, sewer issues, limited hookups, site flooding, road conditions, campground rule changes, acts of God, or other conditions outside our control. No refunds are guaranteed for weather, early departures, late arrivals, campground issues, or utility interruptions unless specifically stated in writing.
16. Website and Checklist Tools
Our website, booking tools, admin tools, checklist tools, forms, calendars, and quote calculators are provided for convenience. Quotes, availability, and totals are subject to review and confirmation by Happy Life Rentals. Checklist tools may store reservation-related information, photos, signatures, inspection notes, and setup or pickup records. These tools must not be used to enter, store, upload, or transmit payment card numbers, expiration dates, card security codes, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information.
17. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the website or services, attempt unauthorized access to admin tools or data, submit false or misleading information, upload harmful code, interfere with website security, or use our services for unlawful, unsafe, or abusive purposes.
18. Intellectual Property
All Happy Life Rentals logos, website content, text, images, graphics, forms, designs, and business materials are owned by or licensed to Happy Life Rentals unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reuse, sell, modify, or distribute our materials without written permission.
19. No Warranty
Our website and services are provided on an “as available” basis. Happy Life Rentals does not guarantee uninterrupted website access, error-free booking tools, continuous availability, or that every requested campground, date, camper, or add-on will be available.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Happy Life Rentals is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the website, booking tools, rental services, campground issues, or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where prohibited by law.
21. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Happy Life Rentals, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the camper, your guests or pets, your breach of these Terms or rental agreement, damage to property, injury or loss during the rental period, campground-rule violations, applicable-law violations, or false information you provide.
22. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services such as Stripe, hosting providers, email providers, social media platforms, campgrounds, and other vendors. We are not responsible for third-party websites, platforms, policies, outages, errors, or security practices.
23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be handled in the appropriate courts located in Maryland unless otherwise required by law or stated in a signed agreement.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
